Fronted by former Terrorvision backing vocialist and keyboard player Josaphine, Projekt Mayhem are a Leicester based rock band who are currently doing very well at bridging the rock, punk and pop divides with their style of music and their audience. Touted as wildhearts beating up nirvana with a front woman to rival skunk anansie and pop rock tunes to rival garbage this is a band you have to catch if you can. The rest of the band comprises of: Nik (guitars/vocals), Matt (bass/vocals), Paddy (samples/keyboards/scratches) and Dan (drums/percussion). The solid rhythms and incredibly catchy anthemic chrouses are complimented with strong intelligent thought provoking songwritting and lyrics. after a positive summer in 2004 the band are looking to move forward and with a string of good support slots last year with incl, hell is for heroes, breed 77, murder one, the ga ga's and kings of leon amongst others, this is looking very positive The band also promote and run one of the largest growing rock night in the midlands, 'retribution' and subsequently have a solid understanding of what they feel and can make good popular rock music. Currently in the studio recording new material and with a rapidly growing fanbase this is a band that are sure to do well in the coming months.
